Measuring Instructions

Please provide the full dimensions of the paper on which your artwork is printed. To measure, flatten out the print and record its width and height from edge to edge. Round up to the nearest 1/8" if you are in between, or use the toggle to provide your dimensions in centimeters if more convenient.

The final frame will overlap your artwork by 1/8" on each side so as to secure it in place. When you add matting, the mat will overlap the artwork by approximately 1/4" on each side.

If you'd like the mat to overlap by more or less than the standard 1/4", please contact us via chat or by emailing support@levelframes.com. We can cut the mat window opening to any size you need, which can be useful if your artwork has borders, a signature you'd like to reveal, or any other special characteristics.

And if you are framing an item with a width or height over 48", don't worry - we specialize in that type of thing! We just need a few details which you can provide by going here. Check out our reviews to see why we are the best online custom framing service.
