Excellent!

Level Frames did an excellent job enlarging an old photograph. The photo wasn't very clear and they were able to produce a clear, vivid image even though the original was a postcard size. Professional, great communication, and most of all excellent result.

Quality work!

My friend absolutely loved her picture/frame. As she opened it, the first words were (she had it upside down) "Wow, the hanging part is very well done". Then she flipped it over to see her picture and loved it. It was hung on her wall by the next day.
I also wanted to say the website was great! It showed you exactly how your picture would look in each frame. It was because of this I realized I had to change the properties of the picture to get everyone's heads and faces in the frame. So simple to work with!

Delayed Christmas delivery

The quality was very nice. I just wish they let me know at the time of my order that nothing I ordered would arrive in time for Christmas. They informed me several days after the sale was processed. I ordered on Dec 9 which happened to be their cut-off date for Christmas delivery.

Sorry we couldn't get this to you sooner, we had a bigger than expected surge of holiday gift orders, and since each frame is made to order we had to set the Christmas deadline sooner than we would have liked. We try to communicate that as clearly as possible, and are already working on increasing capacity for next season.

My great aunt loved it!

A little backstory-My great aunt's son passed away in the in the 90's. He was an artist. She found a few film negatives that she had never seen before and asked me to develop them. They were pictures of him at college during a pottery class. For Christmas, I got them framed and gifted them to her. She was over the moon seeing the collage and portraits that I put together. She complimented the quality of the frames and the matting. It was super easy to navigate and upload images, and very handy to see the preview. Shipping was secure and high quality. After a fruitless search for a company to do the special gift frames and photo array I wanted, I found Level Frames in a New York Times article. It was rated as one of the best. Not only did they have what I wanted, they had a great support staff to keep production on pace so I would have them for my trip for an early family Christmas. The gifts were well received and I ordered a 3rd frame for myself when I got home. Thank you.

Study frame with good quality mounting hardware

I used a weathered natural frame with a reenforced mirror, and the sturdy wood and high quality hanging hardware made it easier than expected. The frame finish looks good, and I'm expanding the look to other rooms in the house.

When You Don’t Get What You Pay For

I was confused when ordering thinking “studio” meant I designed in person with someone. No, that’s the only option if you want them to frame it.
I received a decently made wood frame with heavy enough hardware, 2 foam core boards and plexiglass.
It was well wrapped, arrived in good time and customer service was responsive, so star for each of those, but never again. If your items are remotely standard, you can do better at any store.
