Framed Vinyl Album: At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash

The Man in Black released this live album in May of 1968. His hit song "Folsom Prison Blues" came out all the way back in 1955, and since then Cash had been interested in performing at a prison. Backed by his wife June Carter and Carl Perkins and the Tennessee Three, the album captures two shows held at California's Folsom State Prison in January of '68. This iconic record became a catalyst in turning around Cash's career after several years of waning commercial success.
