Framed Vinyl Album: Madvillainy by Madvillain
The first and only studio album by hip hop duo Madvillain, formed by MF Doom and the producer Madlib. It was released in 2004 by Stones Throw Records and is widely regarded as Doom's magnum opus. Noted for his intricate wordplay, Doom (Daniel Dumile) became a leading figure in underground hip hop in the 2000s. Sadly, he passed away in 2020. The album cover art was created by Stones Throw's art director Jeff Jank using a grayscale photo of Doom in his signature metal mask.
This record is framed using all wood profiles, archival matting, and UV-filtering non-glare acrylic. The cover artwork is presented in full, while the actual vinyl peeks out of the sleeve. Outer dimensions of each frame are 25.5" x 17.5". Framed albums arrive fully sealed and are meant for decorative use only.
