What We Framed in January

See how people kicked off the new year with custom framing

From original artwork to limited edition posters, a favorite photo to a thoughtful gift, the goal of every custom framing project is the same: Satisfaction, pride, and joy over the final work of art hanging on the wall.

We've put together some of our favorite online custom framing projects of the new year that really wowed us.

A portrait in acrylic

This original acrylic portrait by French artist Clement Legrand was framed with a cream mat and Sahara Gold frame.

When framing original art we recommend using UV-protective glaze, and adding a mat or an elevated float to keep the glaze from touching the surface of the artwork.

All of our matting and backing is acid-free to protect artwork and photos long-term and we offer 99% UV protective glaze in three finishes to keep irreplaceable items from fading.

A doodle turned masterpiece

This illustration by children's book artist Tom Lichtenheld is a fun combination of traditional and digital art. It started off as a doodle on paper and was colored in digitally.

We printed the artwork directly from the image file on archival matte art paper. The customer chose to frame it with a white mat and a black frame, which complements the bold lines of the piece.

If you have an image file, you can easily print and frame artwork, or use our at-home framing kits to frame an original.

20th Century Art Posters

Oversized Artwork Custom Framed

"Overall a fantastic experience. The team was very responsive, the turnaround time was just 2 weeks- which is hard to come by for the quality. And craftsmanship really elevated the prints. "

Brett used our send-in framing service to frame these two oversized art posters that perfectly complement the mid-century modern design.

These prints were framed with a dramatic 5” wide mat and our Black Maple frame in the 1.5” width, so the final framed size ended up being 40” x 50”! The height of the frames balance well with the low furniture by filling the vertical space on the wall.

We make it easy to custom frame oversize artwork by providing a virtual mockup of the frame, along with the estimated outer dimensions you can expect the frames to be.

Feeling inspired to custom frame artwork for your own home or frame your favorite picture so that you can enjoy it on the wall every day?

We're standing by to help with any and all of your online framing needs, and can't wait to see the final results.

Happy framing!
