What We Framed in March

Now that Spring is upon us in most of the country, we are happily celebrating the impressive feats of framing recently completed by our customers.

From wedding photos to concert posters, original artwork to pet portrait photos, the goal of every custom framing project is the same: Joy, satisfaction and pride over the final result hanging on your wall.

An Eclectic Gallery Wall

We love the architectural drawing theme of this artwork collection, and how Collete decided to introduce visual variety by mixing and matching frame styles.

You can also see the tasteful choices on adding mats to these pieces, and how care was taken to not cover any signatures and edition numbers.

We've recently expanded our mat offerings, allowing you to dial in custom mat window dimensions to your exact needs, whether that be the size of the window opening or added weighting to the bottom and/or top. You can also now select 8-ply matting along with additional mat colors in the Advanced Options section.

The Handsomest of Dog Portraits

This dog dad recently moved into a new place with his best bud Benji, and decided to add something distinguished to complete the bedroom.

After customizing his frame with a classic white, gallery-style profile and 2" of matting, it made our day to receive this feedback:

Gouache Artwork With a 1/8" Border

One of our favorite artists, Beau Bernier Frank, is quite prolific and a master at getting creative with his framing choices.

As you can see here, he used our mat customization feature to set the window opening to be 1/8" bigger on each side than the image on paper, creating an extra border of white space between the image and inside mat edge.

With our DIY custom framing kit he had complete control over all of the components, and was even able to sign the matting (not the print) which is becoming a signature style for him. We send the frames to you, with 100% archival materials and everything required to mount your artwork from home or the studio.
